Hello! My name is Mikayla and I'm a certified personal trainer based out of Toronto, Ontario.
My love of fitness and strength & conditioning began back in 2014, as I was playing D1 volleyball for the University of New Orleans. I had the opportunity to play for multiple different schools and therefore train with some incredible coaches, such as Greg Carbin - now one of the assistant S&C coaches for the Kansas City Chiefs NFL team.
I’ve been in the industry as an athlete, and then as regular client turned coach for about 10 years. I have a wide range of experience training a diverse clientele: working with individuals who want to lose weight and gain confidence, some who want to focus on strength development, and some athletes who want to take their skills and game to the next level.
Fitness is more than just lifting weights and dieting - it's about improving your quality of life. I firmly believe that each individual is capable of more than they can imagine - fitness is meant to be empowering. Throughout my time in the industry, I've developed my own style of coaching that tailors specifically to each individual client based on their needs and goals. I'm detail oriented and a big thing I factor into my coaching is not only the physical attributes but also the mental side of things as well. Whether you want to lose weight, gain strength or simply feel better each day, I can help!
